This first-person Dark Souls mod is neat but unwieldy

File this one under “Nice idea that needs work.” Soul Slasher on YouTube has uploaded a video runthrough of Dark Souls in a first-person view and it’s, well, a bit on the disorienting side. There’s also the whole lack-of-limbs thing. Clearly, the game was never intended to be played like this, but taking that into consideration, I like the attempt.

I’m thankful From Software went with a third-person perspective even if it would be nice to see the studio revisit gameplay more in line with King’s Field.
