If you’re among the many who were excited to see Sonic the Hedgehog and Golden Axe hit XBLA this week, we’ve got some good news for you. Sega has announced plans to release even more classic titles as part of the Sega Vintage Collection, a new series of HD-enhanced retro games being polished up for your 360.

Three more titles you can expect to show up soon are Ecco the Dolphin, Sonic the Hedgehog 2, and Streets of Rage 2, all with enhanced graphics and their own achievements and leaderboards. Additionally, you may have noticed Golden Axe‘s online co-op mode yesterday, and we’re happy to report that the multiplayer won’t stop there, as Sonic the Hedgehog 2 and Streets of Rage 2 are also set to feature online play. Can I get a “Hell yeah“?
