Get ready to rumble with Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Z

This game is definitely pretty

Namco Bandai announced of Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Z a few weeks back at Anime Expo, but here at San Diego Comic Con, we’re getting more details.

You’ve heard that the emphasis is on team battles (up to eight players at once, with four to a team), but we now know that the team will have a shared “Genki Gauge” that can be filled to unleash devastating group attacks, there will be online play across territories, and there will be a lot of huge enemies that will require the combined effort of all four team members to defeat.

Also, seeing this game in action, it’s visually pleasing. Studio ARTDINK is handling development duties this time around, and I have to say that the color palette in particular immediately drew my attention. We even got a peak at a new character, Super Saiyen God Goku.

I think fans of the Dragon Ball Z franchise will have a lot of fun teaming up with their friends with this one. Let us know what you DBZ fans out there think.
