Dark Souls II’s final Lost Crowns DLC chapter is here

Crown of the Ivory King

After a brief delay, the Dark Souls II DLC trilogy has come to an end with Crown of the Ivory King. It’s available today on Steam and Xbox 360 and tomorrow on PlayStation 3 for $9.99 — or you can get all three add-ons bundled together for $24.99. I might do that (but wait for a sale).

Just looking over the screenshots, this final act seems the most immediately compelling to me — love those snow-covered landscapes. To that end, I’ll need to fight the urge to directly compare it to Dark Souls‘ Painted World of Ariamis. Such an excellent area.

I see Chris already has a draft of his review in our post editor, so expect that to go up this week.
