Avalanche confirms Mad Max will be voiced by an Aussie

Or at least someone that can nail an Australian accent

When I previewed Avalanche Studios’ Mad Max last month, one of the overwhelming concerns in the comments was that un-Australian voice acting could ruin the entire experience. Today, the founder of Avalanche has spoken up and quelled everyone’s fears.

Christofer Sundberg took to Twitter to announce that Mad Max will have an appropriately Australian voice. “Attn. fans who want Max to have an Aussie accent in [Mad Max]: It shall be so. We admire your loyalty. You have been heard,” Sundberg tweeted.

That’s some pretty comforting news about a characteristic that could make or break the game. Mad Max just got a little more intriguing.
