Later this year (hopefully in October), Final Fantasy XIV is getting a new major update. As patch 2.4, it’s called “Dreams of Ice,” and will feature Shiva as the core focus. Additional content includes three new dungeons (two Hard Modes and one new one), more housing plots, the Rogue class and Ninja job, and of course a storyline update.
