Konami has released a new trailer for the Metal Gear Legacy Collection, and it goes through the approximate 25 years of history with the franchise. For those of you who haven’t been keeping track, the PS3-only collection will include, MGS (digital code), MGS: VR Missions (digital code), MGS 2 HD, MGS 3 HD (includes the MSX Metal Gear 1 and 2), MGS: Peace Walker HD, MGS 4, and the two digital graphic novels for MGS 1 and 2.

As a collector, my favorite additions are the two digital graphic novels, which are extremely rare outside of Japan, as each title in good condition can fetch a price similar to the entire Legacy Collection. As I’ve told people recently, I’m planning on throwing this on top of my Metal Gear collection pile very soon.
