IGDA survey: Game devs want to work at Valve

Even more than their own hypothetical company

The Independent Game Developers Association surveyed over 2,200 developers on where they’d like to work, with Valve winning out. Even over working for themselves. Maybe they wouldn’t have liked their boss. Or just want good pay, stability and healthcare. Why else would Activision be number three?

But Valve has always seemed like a cool place to work. That’s why it was surprising when a number of people jumped over to Oculus this year. That Facebook money.
