Launch game? No problem, says Turn 10

In this video interview from GameSpot, Turn 10 Studios reminisces about the Forza Motorsport franchise leading up to Forza 5. A new console can and often will mean software that could have used more development time, but the team is confident in its ability to deliver for the Xbox One launch later this year.

“We’ve got a lot of experience now in delivering on time and delivering with performance and quality,” said software architect Chris Tector. “It’s more that we can continue that arc of quality and performance, and people won’t see it as ‘Oh, well that’s the speedbump that got us onto the generation and we’ll wait for the next version. [Forza 5] is going to be the quality that everyone expects.”

Looking back on prior series installments is a real trip down memory lane. Funny how once-impressive graphics tend to age less than gracefully.
