New Halo comic series will follow Spartan IV Sarah Palmer

Dark Horse has announced a new Halo comic mini-series called Halo: Initiation and is set to follow Spartan IV Sarah Palmer. The comic is being written by Halo 4 writer and comic veteran Brian Reed, while the artwork is being handled by Marco Castiello (Secret Invasion: Front Line, Star Wars: Purge).

Halo: Initiation will follow Sarah Palmer while see’s an ODST, and shows how she eventually became the first ever Spartan IV commander. This would be exciting news if I actually cared about Sarah Palmer’s character. But for everyone else, issue #1 will be out on August 14.
