Shield contest returns for Dark Souls II

Show From Software what you’ve got

Similar to the contest held for Dark Souls, Namco Bandai and From Software have put together a competition for the sequel that will incorporate artists’ shield designs in Dark Souls II. What a cool bragging right that would be, especially given how important shields are in these games. Submissions are being accepted now through May 13.

The next big date to remember is the voting phase, which kicks off May 14 and lasts until May 20. This is when the internet at large (a scary concept) is able to voice its opinion; the top designs will then be sent off to From Software for final approval. Six winning entries, as announced during this year’s San Diego Comic Con, will make it into Dark Souls II.
