Dark Souls II director Yui Tanimura spoke with Shack News recently and the subject of the Dark Souls PC port was brought up. You remember what happened there, right? The PC version was so poorly done that fans had to create mods to make up for the poor performance.

“A lot of it was not very well done, sort of half-assed,” Yui Tanimura told Shacknews. The director promises a better experience for the sequel on the PC this time around as now they’re working on all three platforms at the same time.

“This time, because we are considering the PC from the beginning, you can be sure there will be more care put into PC development.”

You can find out what else Yui Tanimura has in store for Dark Souls II from our latest look at the game.
