Gorgeous iOS game BADLAND is back with a release date

Targeting early April

It’s been quite some time since we last checked in with Frogmind’s sidescrolling iOS game BADLAND, but the team is back with good news. The title is confirmed for an April 4, 2013 release on iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch as a Universal App. The art direction sells itself, so rather than listen to me blabber on, check out this new trailer.

In addition to 40 single-player levels like the one shown above, BADLAND has local multiplayer for up to four people that will undoubtedly encourage dirty tactics. “It’s completely okay to push your rivals to spinning circular saws in order to survive,” writes Frogmind. Perhaps best of all, there are no in-app purchases to be found here.
