Borderlands 2 Vita to PS3 cross-save functionality coming

‘A patch will be coming out shortly’

Recommended Videos

For those of you that are lamenting the lack of cross-save functionality in the Vita version of Borderlands 2, fret no more, as an official Gearbox support representative has confirmed the mechanic on its forums. Answer a question from a fan, the rep states, “a patch will be coming out shortly for the PlayStation 3 version of the game.”

It’s disappointing that the Vita version doesn’t support four player co-op (and thus, changes the entire balance of the game in terms of four player abilities), but some form of Cross Play feature would be a pretty big win.
