Endless runner Sonic Dash announced for iOS

Everybody’s Super Sonic tapping

Sonic Dash has been announced for iOS as an endless runner, likely in the vein of Canabalt. Not much is known about the title, but there is mention of a “frenzied 3D dash through … Seaside Hill.” In this case, I’m going to assume (and hope) that the “3D” is more of a reference to the art style rather than gameplay.

Only iOS has been mentioned, but if Sonic Jump is any indication, it should eventually come to Android devices as well. I hope it’s as simple as Canabalt, since I still hold that up as one of the shining achievements of mobile games, alongside the less simple but still amazing Polara
