More mounts!

Rift is celebrating its two-year anniversary in style with an in-game carnival. Players will get to attend the “Carnival of the Ascended” and participate in events to unlock new mounts and masks to wear. This carnival is part of  a bigger patch, 2.2, that also brings a new PvP Warfront mode, more Planer Attunement tiers, and other new items and collectibles.

From March 21 until April 4 current subscribers will get a 20% increase to guild XP, kill XP, prestige, favor, planarite, dungeon currency, and zone event currency. And if you haven’t played in a while, everyone will be able to play for free from March 21 to March 25.

If you have no idea what Rift is, it’s a pretty neat massively-multiplayer online game, and you can play up to level 20 for free, which you should totally go do.
