Watch an Oculus Rift strip down to its circuitry in Vsauce3 fact video

There’s a tiny crab inside

If you’re still down with the clown Oculus Rift and want to stay informed, check out Vsauce3’s video featuring five Oculus Rift facts that, as Jake says, “takes it apart piece by beautiful piece.” It’s a neat clip with some interesting tidbits, such as the fact that the $2 billion purchase price by Facebook to purchase Oculus VR was enough to snag the Hubble Telescope as well and still have $500 million left over. That’s a good bit of cash, as I think we can all agree.

The video itself is stop-motion animation featuring an Oculus dev kit, so if you wanted to see the inner workings of one of these coveted machines, this is your chance. You might also learn a thing or two along the way, which we can all agree is never a bad thing. Like me learning some conversational German, which I just can’t stick with. Send help.
