Twitch has promised to match the funds need for Studio Bean to launch their interactive game, Choice Chamber. The title has a Kickstarter running, with a goal of $30,000 set for the deadline of April 20. Twitch will match the remaining amount, which will mark the first time that they’ve had their hand in a game’s development.

“The Twitch community has already shown extraordinary enthusiasm for interactive games using Twitch chat,” said Brooke Van Dusen, Director of Business Development, Twitch. “Choice Chamber is an excellent example of how developers can embrace this next-generation concept, so we are helping support this evolution of gameplay experiences in the age of social video.”

Choice Chamber is built for Twitch for crowd-sourced play, much like breakaway hit Twitch Plays Pokemon. Players viewing the broadcast will decide with their own control inputs how the player will navigate through chambers. Given how popular the Twitch Plays Pokemon was, it makes sense that Twitch would want to support this new venture.

Want to know more? A Reddit AMA has been scheduled for at 11:30am PT on April 20 with Studio Bean’s Michael Molinari, where he’ll talk about Choice Chamber as well as his past releases.
