Rockman Xover clocks in over 1.5 million downloads

Rockman Xover, that free-to-play auto-running mobile abomination of Mega Man that’s out in Japan, is apparently a resounding success, obtaining over 1.51 million downloads. The game might be free, but the point is Capcom is still bragging at the success of what is technically a newer Mega Man game.

This could either be good or bad news for fans. If Capcom is happy with that download number enough to start actually creating new Mega Man games, I’d be content. But if those games are all mobile and anything like Rockman Xover, we have a problem.
