Take control of mechs in Halo 4’s multiplayer

Recommended Videos

Fully controllable mechs are now part of Halo 4’s multiplayer mode. Halo Waypoint has the video now, displaying the Mantis mech equipped with a machine gun, rockets, and the ability to stomp on enemies or vehicles. And like the vehicles, opposing players can board the Mantis, plus a charged up Plasma Pistol will shut it down for a few seconds.

Also on display is the return of the map Valhalla, otherwise known as Ragnarok now. A variation of this map has been seen in past Halo games, all the way back to the Halo: Combat Evolved days.

So mechs in Halo 4! Didn’t see that one coming. I for one can’t wait to pilot one around.
