First trailer for strange Wii game Opoona looks, well, strange

Not that there is anything wrong with strange.

Although the graphics are very “last gen” (even when compared to other games on the Wii) something about Opoona intrigues me. Could it be the fact that Final Fantasy XII composer Hitoshi Sakimoto is doing the soundtrack? Or maybe it is the fact that you play the entire game with just the Wii nunchuk attachment? That’s right — all actions are performed without ever even touching the Wiimote. Pretty cool and innovative, methinks.

No North American release date has been set, but hopefully more info on this quirky RPG will be released soon.
