Why is Japan’s McDonald’s Happy Meal so much cooler?

Check out these adorable Super Mario collectibles

Take a look at these amazingly adorable Super Mario toys that will be included in Japan’s McDonald’s Happy Meal equivalent, the Happy Set, beginning on November 22.

Two sets, which sadly in the year of Luigi are absent of Mario’s green overall wearing brother, will both come in a special edition Christmas box that folds out to reveal a Christmas tree. Additionally, those who purchase the Happy Set on December 23 or 24 will get a special Mario themed dice game.

Now this is some poor eating I can get behind for the US. Buy a Happy Meal then get an awesome toy like the good old days; who could resist? I mean its like a million times better than stuffing your face with Taco Bell or guzzling down Slurpees till ones body explodes to, maybe, win a new console.

Am I right… yeah I’m right.
