Sony adds PayPal support to PlayStation 3

Another way to give them your money

Sony has announced today that PayPal may be used to make purchases through the PlayStation 3, and consumers may now commence transferring funds to their Sony Entertainment Network wallets through the console to their heart’s content. PayPal has been slowly rolling out as an option for SEN, first arriving on the service’s web-based store in January.

With the proliferation of credit, debit and gift card options now so wide, the appeal of PayPal as a payment system seems far less desirable than it might have been a few years ago. Still, this will certainly be good news for some who enjoy the convenience of choice.
