Experiencing the Art of the Assassin

Recommended Videos

Last night, a downtown Los Angeles gallery hosted Art of the Assassin, a collection of art pieces inspired by Ubisoft’s upcoming Assassin’s Creed III.

I was lucky enough to attend, and had a really great time! I got to play a demo of the game (looks amazing, by the way), meet members of the development team, and check out some of the cool art. All in all, a very fun night.

You can check out some pictures I took of the event in the gallery. Now, keep in mind, this wasn’t the most ideal way to show art. There were bright lights everywhere and almost all the pieces were covered in shiny glass. That combination is lethal and resulted in tons of reflections and shadows. The pictures don’t nearly do some of the great pieces justice.

But if you want to check out the exhibit yourself, click here for details on the upcoming national tour. (The website also has much better images of all the art.)

Oh, I also got to dress like a Revolutionary War soldier. That was fun. I threw that ridiculous picture in the gallery as well.

Assassin’s Creed III will be released on October 30. I can’t wait! The game looks fantastic!
