Cities of Tomorrow is your first big Sim City expansion

Y’all are still playing Sim City, right?

SimCity had one of the worst launches of any game in the last few years but EA and Maxis are carrying on with plans to grow the core game with a big new expansion entitled Cities of Tomorrow which will arrive in November this year. You can now design future cities of your liking, whether it’s a nice and shiny utopian metropolis or a dark and dingy sprawl that wouldn’t look out of place in a cyberpunk future.

I’m glad I didn’t get SimCity at launch but when the trailer above shows the futuristic industrial city, my inner Blade Runner obsessive was immediately salivating. So allow me to canvas the Destructoid community and ask “How is SimCity now in the latter half of 2013?” There’s no price or firm date for Cities of Tomorrow yet. I wonder if it’ll justify buying the main game.
