Feel free to pre-order Shootmania starting today

We just got word straight from Ubisoft today that Shootmania is now accepting pre-orders. If you’re keen on being an early bird, you’ll get 20% off the final price, as well as instant and full access to all beta events. The final price for early folks is $15.99, which puts it on par with a number of XBLA/PSN shooters at launch.

Ubisoft is also running a “bundle deal” (similar to Steam), where you can pitch in with three or five total buyers for a discount. I think that Shootmania is either going to be a rip-roaring success and break into the E-Sport arena, or a massive failure.

From what I’ve seen, it’s too early to tell, but I kind of like what I’ve played so far. I’ve yearned for a return to arena shooters, and this is a decent way to relive the glory days. Is anyone else in the beta?

You can engage in all this madness at Shootmania.com.
