North America can download Tekken 5 on the PS3 this month

Previously only a Japanese download via the PlayStation Network, PlayStation 3 owners in North America will be able to download Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection later this month. Of course, it wouldn’t be a Sony news item if it didn’t contain a smidgen of bad news. Sorry y’all, no online play for this one. From 1UP:

We asked Namco Bandai if online play was an undocumented feature in the North American release of Tekken 5, representatives from the company told 1UP the following: “Online play will not be available in this download.”
