The PC gamer graphics whore in me loves all of these new tech demos coming out lately. We rounded up all of the hot ones from E3, including Epic’s Unreal Engine 4, CryEngine, that amazing Star Wars 1313 and the mind-blowing Square Enix Luminous Engine. And now Futuremark follows with a video that showcases DirectX 11 in real time, shown above.

This tech demo will be part of their next 3DMark gaming benchmark. Expect that to be released after the launch of Windows 8. Here’s that hot graphics whore babble:

The 3DMark DirectX 11 tech demo brings this scene to life with intelligent tessellation and advanced volumetric lighting using real-time light scattering. The visible particles and clouds of smoke in the scene react to other objects using fluid dynamics simulation. Post processing, ambient occlusion and various lens effects complete the look.

What do you think? I think hooded guy is f*cked.
