MonkeyPaw brings PSOne classic Tomba! to PSN

Man, I loved me some Tomba! back in the day. This pink haired, prehistoric platformer came from the mind Tokuro Fujiwara, who also worked on the Mega Man and Ghosts ‘N Goblins. It’s been awhile, but I still remember solid platforming, some mild RPG elements, great visuals and plenty of pig snouts.

If you’ve ever checked on eBay, the prices for the original PSOne disc are crazy high. Right now a low price is about $150, and the highest on the auction site is asking $450 for a sealed copy.

MonkeyPaw Games is about to dump on those auctions by offering up a digital re-release on the PlayStation Network later this month for the much lower price of $9.99. You could go nuts with the extra $150 that you saved by getting the digital version!

Tomba! hits the PSN on June 19th.
