Will be sold in batches

MineCon is taking place in Orlando Florida this year, and will be held at the Orange County Convention Center from November 2-3. Tickets are $150, and you’ll be able to buy six tickets in one order. Plus, kids three and under can get in for free.

Tickets will be on sale in three different batches, with each containing 2500 tickets. The first batch goes on sale today at 4PM PDT. The next batch will go on sale on August 2 at 7AM PDT, and the last batch will be available on August 3 at 12PM.

Mojang is spreading out the tickets in an effort to “be fair to people who have jobs or school and those with different schedules.” PAX and San Diego Comic-Con could learn a thing or two from the way Mojang is handling this process.
