Size matters: Comparing a launch PS3 to the PS4

Or a Foreman Grill versus a giant eraser

There’s no denying that the launch PlayStation 3 was a behemoth. Large and bulky, sporting more media card slots than needed, the most powerful console of its time looked more like a countertop grill than a sleek and sexy addition for any home entertainment cabinet.

To further iterate this point, Sony’s PS Access channel has put together a lovely video showing off just how much more attractive the Playstation 4’s launch console is than its predecessor.

It still looks like a giant eraser to me (not saying I don’t like that look), but more importantly I have a better idea of just how snug Sony’s new console is going to fit in my current gaming setup this fall.
