Compile Heart is trying its best to keep the PlayStation Vita library stuffed to the gills with ports, remakes, and the like. The company has joined forces with Summon Night team Felistella to release an enhanced version of the original Hyperdimension Neptunia on Sony’s portable system in Japan this October. Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth 1 features the improved visuals and combat system from the most recent entry in the series, Hyperdimension Neptunia Victory.

NIS America, Compile Heart’s western publishing partner, has yet to announce a localized release for the remake or fellow Neptunia projects Hyperdimension Idol Neptunia PP and Hyper Goddess Faith Noir: Extreme God Black Heart, which are also both coming to PS Vita in Japan later this year.
