RE: Operation Raccoon City clears over two million sales

Recommended Videos

Despite mixed reviews and an angry outcry from fans, Capcom has today announced that Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City just sold over two million copies worldwide. The game was sitting at around 1.7 million sales when Capcom had its financial call earlier this week.

Of course, time will tell how many of those people genuinely enjoyed the game, and how many regret impulse buying a product just because Resident Evil was on the cover. As one of the folks who actually enjoyed it, I’m not disappointed at its success. Something tells me that won’t be the prevailing attitude.

Did anyone else around here actually like it?
