DICE announces Commander Mode for Battlefield 4

Also that new level looks ridiculous!

DICE was back on stage again today, as they announced Commander Mode for Battlefield 4. Showed on stage for a “live” 64 player multiplayer session, the Commander is able to directly command their team by talking to them either from their living room on the actual game, or through their mobile device (most likely on iOS and Android, although this was not directly confirmed).

Also shown off was a new multiplayer map inside a city where the fight was taken into a giant (I mean giant) skyscraper. The commander came broke in, told them the building was unstable, and that it was going to collapse. Once the whole team dove out, the building did just that. It looked absolutely incredible.
