Spelunky is one of those games that I want to see on as many platforms as possible — it’s that freaking good. Everyone deserves the opportunity to play it. In addition to the upcoming PlayStation 3 and PS Vita ports, the title will now return to the place where it all started with a PC release on GOG.com and Steam later this summer.

The classic freeware version of Spelunky was and still is worth playing on PC, but the revamped, once-exclusive Xbox Live Arcade reboot is where it’s at if you’re looking for some of the best cooperative play of the past decade. Thankfully, it shouldn’t be much more of a wait.
