Let’s get straight to the news that’s been a long time coming for Bungie’s open-world shooter Destiny: we’ll finally see what it looks like — what it really looks like — on June 10, 2013. Thank goodness for that! Specifically, the first gameplay footage will be shown during Sony’s E3 press conference; someone’s been busy.

A significant amount of the promotion for Destiny has been built on Bungie’s legacy and lofty promises, many of which sound thrilling if executed properly. But even seeing isn’t believing when it comes to games, and there’s plenty of seeing that still needs to happen. Director Jon Favreau did a nice job with this spot, all that said.
