Complete FC 27 PC Deep Dive patch notes
Last year, PC was the superior platform to play FC 26 if you consider elements like FPS and general optimizations. There were many issues that plagued the community for a long time. This time around, EA Sports seems to be focused on ensuring a better experience from day one for those who will play on their desktops and laptops.
Quicker Launch
The first noticeable improvement you can expect is when you launch FC 27. Whether you are playing using EA’s own app or via Steam, you can expect the game will take 50% less time to load.
The exact time will depend on your PC hardware setup, but in simple words, your game will launch quicker compared to previous year.
More graphics presets
There will be more graphical presets available for PC players to pick from. These presets will allow you to customize your in-game experience more to your liking.
If your hardware is strong enough, you can always try playing the game at ultra specifications, which will run at 120 FPS. You can also tone it down if you wish to prioritize performance over visual quality.
Additionally, a VRAM indicator is also going to be available in your settings that will allow you to understand what kind of performance you can expect.
One friend list
No longer will you need to use the EA app to play with your friends on Steam. You can automatically connect with your Steam friends through EA Connect and invite them to play with you in FC 27.
Better visuals
If your PC is capable enough, you can use Enhanced Ultra Visuals to bring a different kind of fidelity. This mode offers additional enhancements for those who want to enjoy the best graphics.
Enhanced Ultra Visuals will be disabled by default, but you can always revert the decision as long as your PC can manage the extra load.
FC 27 will also have better responsiveness compared to FC 26. While this will again depend on your setup and its capacity to some extent, the general results should be better than what you might have encountered in FC 26.
