The WWII dogfights of War Thunder are headed to PS4

Announced as a launch-window game

Gaijin Entertainment is bringing its free-to-play massively-multiplayer online game War Thunder to PlayStation 4 this holiday season. There’s nothing in the way of screenshots for the expanded release, though we do have a teaser trailer and first details to go on. It sure is a teaser!

The developer promises that a boost in graphics and speed is on the cards, as well as intuitive controls with the DualShock 4. “The power of PS4 will allow developers to include improved head-tracking system, easier socializing tools, smart and easy options to record, stream and share homemade gameplay videos and will have full support of PlayStation Cloud.”

Depending on how obstructive the paid-content piece of War Thunder ends up being, this could actually be a nice little score for early PS4 adopters. I’m always down for high-flying combat.
