Not to be confused with Pocky and Rocky, a new gameplay trailer for the upcoming puzzle platformer Papo & Yo has just graced our presence, compliments of GDC. If you’re not familiar with the project, it looks like a mix between Banjo Kazooie (complete with a backpack hover companion!) and Ico. Development is being handled by the studio Minority, and it’s their first project.
Right now, while the trailer looks excellent for a PSN game, it’s still a little rough around the edges, and could use some polish before release. Papo and Yo is scheduled to release sometime in 2012 for the Playstation 3, over the PSN.
