Third DLC drop trailer for CoD Elite features Rob Riggle

Recommended Videos

Did you know Rob Riggle is an actual U.S. Marine? He’s a Lieutenant Colonel and an actual badass. But that’s entirely beside the point. He stars in the most recent trailer for March 2012’s Call of Duty Elite content drop for Modern Warfare 3. If you’re keeping track (as I’m sure a lot of you are), that makes this the third drop to be released for premium users of Elite on Xbox 360. PS3 users will have to wait a month again.

So what will you be getting this time around? This month is all about the Special Ops maps, marking the first time they’ve been available as DLC in the franchise’s history. “Black Ice” has you and a partner riding on snowmobiles to invade a mine and then destroy it. “Negotiator” will take you to India for a map that is full of breach-and-clear rooms to save VIPs. To round out the pack, there’s also a new multiplayer map called “Black Box”. So, now that we’re a few months in, was Call of Duty Elite Premium worth it?
