Thank goodness! Now that we have in-game screenshots for MechWarrior Tactics, I can better separate it mentally from the other upcoming game, MechWarrior Online. Tactics has the hex map, while Online is powered by CryEngine 3. Got it.
It’s undoubtedly great to see such a varied batch of games about mechs this year, but I can already feel the harsh sting of defeat that comes with my lifelong ability to screw up in turn-based titles. And now I’m having flashbacks of the cover art for the numerous BattleTech books. This can’t end well.
