Standalone, budget-priced Strike Suit Infinity announced

Strike Suit Zero spinoff

Born Ready Games is leveraging the work it put into space combat game Strike Suit Zero, which our own Fraser awarded a 7.5 out of 10, to create a spinoff title. Dropping on Steam this Tuesday for $6.99, Strike Suit Infinity is being referred to as a “wave-based score-chaser.”

Given that description and the low price point, I’m not expecting a whole lot, so here’s hoping the studio can meet meager expectations with this leaderboard-centric standalone release. Infinity will involve endless waves of ships for your mech/ship to destroy, while reinforcements can be bought between rounds. Seems like an interesting, low-risk way to try out Strike Suit.

Word has also come out that Born Ready will have the free mission pack DLC Heroes of the Fleet for Strike Suit Zero soon.
