Sacred Citadel launch trailer overwhelms the senses

Brawler out now via digital distribution

A departure from the typical installments in the role-playing Sacred series, Sacred Citadel goes after the beat’-em-up crowd as its own separate thing. This pleases me greatly, having failed to ever get into the aforementioned main series. It’s out this week on Steam, Xbox Live Arcade, and PlayStation Network for $15.

While I don’t find there to be anything intrinsically wrong with dubstep, usage of it in trailers can and often will do a disservice to the game in question rather than enhance it. I’ve yet to play Sacred Citadel, but here’s hoping it plays as well as its vibrant art style looks. We’ll have a review later this month.
