Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced goes live on July 9, and you can get several extra hours of gameplay if you’re either on an Xbox or a PlayStation console. While there’s no early or advanced access, the game follows a regional launch schedule on consoles. In simple words, you can access Resynced when it’s midnight in your region.

Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced New Zealand trick explained

The New Zealand trick allows you to start playing the game earlier due to how time zones work worldwide.

While this guide works for both PlayStation and Xbox, the process is a lot easier on the latter.

Xbox

  • Open your console.
  • Head to the console settings.
  • Go to Time and Language
  • Open Region and Language
  • Choose New Zealand from the Region section.
  • Restart your console.

Once your console restarts, you’ll notice that the date and time have changed to what’s applicable for New Zealand. Once it’s midnight over there, you’ll be able to play as long as you’ve preloaded the game.

PlayStation

The process is slightly trickier for PlayStation consoles. Changing the region doesn’t work since it’s tied to your PlayStation account. To make it work, you’ll need to create a fresh account with the region tied to New Zealand. You’ll also require a payment method that’s applicable to New Zealand.

While it’s possible to perform this trick on PlayStation, it’s quite complex. Needless to say, you’ll also have to purchase a fresh copy of the game on the account. Hence, it’s best to wait a few hours and start playing once it’s actually midnight at your location.

If you’re on PC, there’s no need for a trick, as there’s a different launch schedule entirely.
