War Prime is now finally obtainable in Warframe as it has been added to the arsenal as part of the Jade Shadows: Constellations update. Previously, we could only use it during the campaign missions sice it was unavailable elsewhere. Thankfully, that has now changed, and you can craft the weapon with the applicable blueprints and required materials.

How to craft War Prime in Warframe
To craft the War Prime, you’ll need the Hunhow’s Trinkets blueprint. You can purchase this blueprint from Hunhow, who is also the vendor at the Pontis Tower node. To complete the purchase, you’ll need 12 Crimson Talents and 12 Emerald Talents.
You can earn these talents from completing the new Railjack missions available from the Uranus Proxima. You can aid either Vena or Ryoku to take down the rival protoframes. Completing the missions will reward you with the tokens, along with other valuable resources like the Sirius and Orion blueprints.

Once you have 12 each of the Crimson and Emerald Talents (the tokens), you can get the blueprints. To get War Prime, you’ll need five Nitain Extracks, one Orokin Cell, one Argon Crystal, and 15,000 credits. Next, wait for 12 hours for the Forge to complete the crafting process, and you’ll have your War Prime.
Is War Prime worth it in Warframe
Here are the stat comparison between the normal and Prime version of War.
| Stat | Normal | Prime |
|---|---|---|
| Total base damage | 250 | 270 |
| Impact | 120 | 194.4 |
| Crit Chance | 26% | 26% |
| Crit Multiplier | 2.6x | 3.2x |
| Status Chance | 26% | 32% |
The Prime version has better base damage, and stronger in terms of Impact. The Crit Multiplier is also higher, but the Crit Chance is the same. All things considered, I don’t think the Prime version is a must-have. If you have a perfectly-modded War, I would just stick to that.
