What does Output Boost mean in Marvel Rivals?

Output Boost is essentially a bonus damage multiplier that applies to all damage dealt. Although this stat sounds complex, it’s a lot simpler than you think, and since it applies to all damage, it’s one of the most important stats to level up since it affects every attack you make.
The full description for Output Damage can be viewed by locating this stat in the left section on the Hero page. If you’re having trouble finding it, since it is a bit hidden and quite easy to overlook, here’s the full description that’s given.
Provides an extra amplification to all damage dealt, which gradually tapers off as the total amplification value increases. Value displayed is the final after diminishing returns are applied.
How to check Output Boost in Marvel Rivals
You can check the total Output Boost on each hero by navigating to the Blood Hunt event page, selecting the Hero tab, switching over to the Traits section, and looking for the “Total Output Boost” text near the upper left corner of the screen. Depending on the upgrades you’ve chosen, this stat will change, and it also looks different for each hero since you have to level them up and build them separately.
How to increase Output Boost in Marvel Rivals

Output Boost can be increased by progressing through each hero’s skill tree under the Traits page in the Blood Hunt event section. Look for nodes called Output Amplification to enhance this stat. These nodes can usually be leveled up a few times, so be sure to spend additional points on them as you progress.
Having high Output Boost is essential for taking on the toughest bosses you’ll face in this mode, including Dracula and Kingpin. Building up this stat on the best characters you can play as in Blood Hunt is a great way to ensure your team manages to succeed, eventually allowing you to unlock exclusive rewards like the Kingpin Accessory.
