Guilty Gear is one of my favorite fighting game franchises of all time. Although interest has waned in the public at large after numerous confusing updates and iterations, to many fans, the series has remained relevant.

Its most recent foray into the gaming world came with the arcade release of Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus R, in addition to an Xbox 360 and PS3 version called Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus, that will be getting the “Plus R” update sometime in the spring.

Now, it’s coming to Vita this year in Japan. You can kick it with the always killer soundtrack in the game’s new Vita trailer, which promises everything the arcade version has to offer.
