I told you in my preview of Final Fantasy XIII-2 that there’s some strange stuff going on there. These newly released screenshots prove that. Check out the monster wearing formal wear — a bow tie. Or the robot in the wizard’s hat. Is that Vivi’s hat? You can dress up your beasts in this game with lots of wierd stuff called Adornments. I see in the listing that there’s an Adornment called “Mint Chip Ice Cream.” What?
In this batch of screenshots you’ll also see more of the Historia Crux and the retooled Crystarium that our preview covered. A few story and setting scenes are mixed in for good measure.
