Things are about to get interesting in FC 26 with the second batch of Fantasy FC promo, since some of the cards will get upgrades based on the Fantasy Premier League (FPL) competition.
Typically, Fantasy FC cards have their own set of rules when it comes to the upgrades. However, an exclusive batch of Premier League-based Fantasy FC cards from Team 2 will have different rules for the upgrades.

How do Fantasy FC x FPL upgrades work in FC 26
Unlike standard Fantasy FC cards, FPL items will have separate rules for upgrades. Every upgrade will be determined by how many FPL points the footballers secure during Matchweek 29 (March 3 and March 5).
| FPL Points | Upgrades |
|---|---|
| 0-1 | Plus 1 OVR and an additional Role++ |
| 2-3 | Plus 2 OVR, and all Roles++ for the main position |
| 4-5 | Plus 3 OVR, all Roles++ for all positions, a 2nd PlayStyle+, and 1 base PlayStyle |
| 6-7 | Plus 4 OVR, all Roles++ for all positions, a 2nd PlayStyle+, and 2 base PlayStyles |
| 8+ points | Plus 5 OVR, all Roles++ for all positions, a 2nd PlayStyle+, 2 base PlayStyles, and 5-Star Skill Moves or Weak Foot |
