This week’s Halo 4 matchmaking update will include the long-awaited Team Doubles playlist, 343 Industries revealed on Halo Waypoint, and with it, three match variants.

First up, Infinity Doubles offers up the standard Infinity Slayer experience, where custom loadouts, instant respawn and radar are enabled. Ordinances have been altered for the playlist, with personal assistance kicking in at the 70 point mark. Doubles Pro contains preset weapon loadouts and omits radar, personal ordinances and instant respawn. Lastly, CTF Doubles includes custom loadouts and radar, a 10 second respawn timer, 5 flags to win, 3 second return, and a 15 second reset timer. Your team’s flag also doesn’t need to be home in order to score.

The map pool is still being finalized, and will be updated on a constant basis, though so far slightly altered versions of Haven, Abandon and Solace will be included, along with several of the best community Forge maps.

Spartan Ops continues today with Episode 8, and the standard Capture the Flag playlist will also see some changes.
